Ever tried explaining tech to a pet

So, I was on a call with a customer trying to troubleshoot their device, and I realized it felt a bit like I was explaining quantum physics to my cat. I mean, I’m all for using analogies, but how do you compare buffering issues to a cat chasing a laser pointer? Anyone else have a hilarious experience trying to simplify tech for someone who just doesn’t get it?
